The lock is mechanised but is NOT user operated
Call Selby Lock Keeper on vhf channel 74 or telephone (01757) 703 182
The Selby lock keeper should be notified BEFORE leaving Naburn
(or Barmby Barrage or Goole if travelling upstream)
When cruising downstream (from Naburn),
it is usually necessary to turn at , or just before, the lock
and 'stem' the tidal ebb before entering the lock
