Stanley  Signal  Box

Exterior and interior, August, 1936, with signalman King at window and signalman Wilkinson behind levers.

According to the summer, 1932 timetable, 16 passenger trains in each direction stopped at Stanley station on Monday to Friday, with additional late trains on Saturday, but no service on Sunday.  Colliers and rhubarb fields in the vicinity provided some freight traffic.
