Sadly, Michael Yates - above - died, suddenly, aged 40,
as he cycled home from work on Monday, 24th March, 2003
He was cremated at Wakefield Crematorium, on Monday 31st March, 2003
at 3.15 pm - followed by a gathering at Lofthouse Gate Working Mens Club.

Michael was cremated in in his full refereeing kit - watch, whistle, cards - 'the lot'.
His ashes are to be scattered on the ground of his beloved football club - the Reebok Stadium.

Grace said:
"He was a Bolton Wanderers supporter from the age of four.
  He was a life-long season ticket holder.
  His ashes are to be scattered on the pitch and a Chaplain is to perform a short
  service".

Condolences are expressed for his Widow Grace, their Family & Friends
