Joanne and Kevin Doughty arrived here in November 2000 and have
quickly established a reputation for serving quality food and real ales.
Food is served seven days a week with the whole menu of traditional pub
fare available throughout the day. |
| Joanne, who has many years of experience in the licensed
trade, is the chef and her menu offers a good choice of dishes including
steaks, locally caught fresh fish, and some wonderful home made pies and
desserts. John Smith's is the permanent real ale with a selection of
guest beers which change regularly.
This is a lively pub with pool, darts and even its own football team, a quiz night on Fridays and live music once a month. Accommodation is also available: there are 5 guest bedrooms - 2 family, 2 doubles and a single, all comfortably furnished and available all year round. |
